Perhaps it’s to encourage us to think about how quickly we judge what we see.
We look at four umbrellas and four couples and immediately start assigning emotional stories to them.
That’s something human beings do every day.
We see a stranger at a store and imagine what their life is like.
We see a couple having dinner and wonder whether they’re happy.
We see someone’s vacation photos and assume their life is perfect.

It might be Number Four.
And that’s perfectly fine.
Because perhaps the real lesson hidden inside this little picture isn’t about finding the happiest couple.
It’s about remembering that happiness cannot always be seen.
Love cannot always be measured from a distance.
And a person’s entire story can never be understood from one frozen moment.

And an apparently simple question that turns out to be much deeper than it first appears:
