A green dot on your Android phone means

If the listed app is something you recognize, there is generally nothing to worry about. The indicator is simply confirming that the application is using a sensor you have permitted it to access. For example, messaging, camera, recording, and video-call applications commonly require these permissions.

However, an unfamiliar application deserves closer attention. You can open Settings, find Privacy and Permission Manager, and review which applications have access to your camera and microphone. Permissions can be removed if an app no longer needs them or if you do not trust its access.
