“He identified Daniel’s truck.”

“He also told us Daniel carried a large amount of cash during fishing trips.”
I stared.
“That’s a lie.”

“Dean pushed the accident explanation aggressively.”
“Then suicide.”
“Then back to accident.”
“He was inconsistent.”
“Why didn’t you investigate him?”

“No criminal history.”
